🚨 Air Quality Alert: Protect Yourself, Your Family & Your Pets 🚨
Smoke from wildfires has caused unhealthy air quality across our area. Even if you can’t see the smoke, the air may still contain harmful particles.
Here are a few simple ways to stay safe:
🏠 Keep windows and doors closed as much as possible.
🌬️ Run your air conditioning on recirculate and use a HEPA air purifier if available.
🏃 Avoid outdoor exercise or strenuous activities until air quality improves.
😷 If you must be outside for an extended period, consider wearing a well-fitting N95 or KN95 mask.
💧 Stay hydrated and pay attention to symptoms like coughing, throat irritation, or difficulty breathing.
🐶 Don’t forget your pets!
• Keep walks short, just enough for bathroom breaks.
• Avoid long walks, runs, or playing fetch outside.
• Make sure they have plenty of fresh water.
• Watch for coughing, excessive panting, watery eyes, or trouble breathing. If you notice these symptoms, contact your veterinarian.
Your health, and the health of your four legged family members comes first.
Stay safe, stay informed, and we’ll all get through this together. ❤️
