Some townhomes association are installing cover on the dryer vents to prevent wildlife from entering the home. Once the cover is full of lint, the dryer perfomance decreases, , as it is unable to properly remove the damp air to the outside causing the dryer to overheat and short cycle increasing the dry time. Cover should be cleaned regularly.
