🚗 Meet the full Central IT Dept LLC fleet!

With the two new Chevy Trax additions, here's what we're rolling with across Ohio. Every vehicle you see represents a technician on the road, ready to show up for a local business that depends on us.

This is what growth looks like for a local IT company. More vehicles means more capacity, faster response times, and more businesses across Ohio getting the hands-on support they deserve. We're not a call center. We're a team that shows up.

Whether it's a cybersecurity emergency, a hardware failure, or routine maintenance, when you see one of these vehicles, you know help is on the way.

We're proud of where we've been and excited about where we're headed. If your business needs a local IT partner that actually shows up, let's talk.

🎉 Big news from Central IT Dept LLC!

We just added TWO brand new Chevy Trax vehicles to our fleet, and they are looking sharp thanks to the incredible work done by Lizard Skinz!

A huge thank you to Brian Newhouse and the entire team at Coughlin Automotive for making the purchase process smooth and seamless. And to Lizard Skinz for turning these vehicles into something we're truly proud to put our name on.

You might be wondering why we wrap our vehicles. Here's the answer: when our technicians are on the road serving your business, we want you to know it's us pulling up. Our wrapped vehicles are a statement of professionalism and commitment to the communities we serve across Ohio. This means you can spot us in your parking lot, on the highway, and in your neighborhood. It's our way of showing that Central IT Dept LLC isn't just a voice on the phone or a name in your inbox. We're a real, local team showing up for you every single day.

When you see us on the road, give us a wave! 👋

Ready to have a dedicated local IT team in your corner? Give us a call.

🏛️ **Attention Ohio Counties, Townships, Schools & Public Offices: ORC 9.64 Compliance Is Not Optional**

Ohio Revised Code 9.64 requires every political subdivision in the state — counties, municipalities, townships, school districts, and other public offices — to maintain a formal cybersecurity program.

**What the law requires:**
📋 Written Cybersecurity Program
📋 Designated Program Coordinator
📋 Risk Assessment
📋 Employee Awareness Training
📋 Incident Response Plan
📋 Access Controls
📋 Vendor/Service Provider Oversight
📋 Annual Report to Governing Body
📋 Continuous Improvement Process

The Auditor of State reviews compliance under ORC 117.43 during regular audit cycles. If your program isn't documented, you're exposed to:
🔴 Auditor of State findings on your official record
🔴 Cyber insurance claim denials after an incident
🔴 Public-records scrutiny if a breach occurs

Ohio DAS publishes a model program — but it's a starting point, not a finished solution. Your office needs a program that's actually implemented, not just downloaded.

Central IT Dept LLC helps Ohio public offices build, document, and maintain compliant cybersecurity programs from the ground up.

🔒 We publish our actual response times. Every year.

Most IT providers promise fast support. We put the numbers on paper — and make them public.

Our 1-hour first response SLA is in every contract. So is a 72-hour resolution target. And every year, we post our actual ticket data so you can see exactly how we're performing before you ever sign.

A real Ohio-based engineer answers every ticket — no bots, no national queues, no runaround.

⚠️ **Ohio Auto Dealers: The FTC Is Watching — Are You Protected?**

If your dealership arranges financing or leasing, you're now classified as a **financial institution** under the FTC Safeguards Rule (16 C.F.R. Part 314). That means you need a full written information security program in place — and enforcement is already happening.

In 2024, a multi-rooftop Illinois dealership group faced FTC action because they couldn't produce:
🔴 A Written Information Security Program (WISP)
🔴 A documented risk assessment
🔴 Qualified Individual oversight

**The penalty? Up to $51,744 per violation.**

**Your compliance checklist:**
📋 Written Information Security Program (WISP)
📋 Designated Qualified Individual
📋 Risk Assessment
📋 Access Controls & System Inventory
📋 Multi-Factor Authentication + Encryption
📋 Continuous Monitoring
📋 Incident Response Plan
📋 Service Provider Oversight
📋 Annual Security Awareness Training

✅ Central IT Dept LLC can serve as your **Qualified Individual** — a third party is fully allowed under the rule. We help Ohio dealerships get compliant, stay compliant, and document everything the FTC expects to see.

Don't wait for an enforcement action to find out you're not covered.

🔒 Is Your Village or Township ORC 9.64 Compliant?

Ohio Revised Code 9.64 requires all political subdivisions — including villages and townships — to have a documented cybersecurity program in place. Non-compliance is not just a legal risk, it is a security risk for your community's data.

At Central IT Dept LLC, we have been helping local Ohio governments get compliant. Here is what we cover:

✅ Written cybersecurity policies
✅ Risk assessment documentation
✅ Employee security training programs
✅ Incident response planning
✅ Ongoing monitoring and reporting

We know municipal budgets are tight. Our solutions are built for small governments, not Fortune 500 companies.

🚗 **When something breaks on-site, we're in a car. Not on a flight.**

A 40-person accounting firm locked out of their CRM at 8:30 AM on a Tuesday. Back up by 9:15.

A sales rep loses a phone at an airport — device wiped before a new SIM ever synced.

That's what local IT support looks like. Real Ohio engineers answering every ticket. No overseas help desks. No callback in 3–5 business days.

We're based in Carroll, OH — and we're probably closer than you think.
