Due to current road conditions we WILL NOT be sending our crew out on any calls.
For a true major emergency, we will try our absolute best to help but we will not risk our employees or ourselves out on these roads. If we cannot get to you safely, we will not be able to come to you until the roads begin to clear. We do apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused but we want our crew of guys home safe with their families, especially during this bitter cold weather.
Everyone please stay safe, don’t go out unless you have to and do your best to stay warm.

PSA #2- If you did not take heed to PSA #1 and your water freezes over the weekend please be patient. All you can do is get a heat source on your incoming line and wait for it to thaw. If the line busts during the thawing process that is when you need to contact a plumber unless you are handy and can make the repairs.

Hawkins Plumbing will be closed December 23rd-26th in observance of Christmas. This will give us the time to spend with our families during the holidays.

We will have a crew on call for any EMERGENCY services that would be needed.

We will return to normal hours on Tuesday, December 27th at 8am.

PSA- We want to remind everyone with this bitter cold heading our way it's time to take some precautions. Make sure your hose is disconnected (hopefully it already is), let faucets drip to keep the water active, open cabinet doors under sinks so your lines can get some extra heat, stop drafts from getting under your house and hope for the best.
Taking small steps can save you a lot of money. 20-25 below zero with the wind chills, so please stay safe and don't forget about your outside pets.

Hawkins Plumbing is looking to hire an experienced and Licensed Journeyman Plumber to service the Carroll County area and surrounding counties, (including but not limited to Owen, Trimble & Gallatin County).

Basic Job Description:
-Carry out regular maintenance of plumbing systems at commercial and residential sites
-Perform installation of plumbing systems at new properties
-Inspect previously installed plumbing systems at commercial and residential sites
-Perform any necessary repairs to previously installed systems
-Answer calls for plumbing issues from general contractors
-Keep up to date with current safety regulations and requirements for the various plumbing systems a company installs and maintains
-Work carefully to follow all current regulations for plumbing work to ensure that all installed systems pass inspections
-Communicate well with clients to ensure client satisfaction
-Communicate well with team members and fellow employees
-Manage a work log
-Keep detailed reports of work done at various job sites
-Provide information regarding plumbing system upkeep to clients

Additional Job Requirements:
-High School Diploma or equivalent
-2 years (preferred)* experience as a Licensed Journeyman Plumber
-Proof of Journeyman's Plumbing License
-Valid drivers license required
-Reliable method of transportation
-Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen and submit to random drug testing
-Pre-scheduled weekends on call
-Willing to work overtime and weekends, if needed*
-Available for Emergency Plumbing Services, if needed*
