In 2022, Brandt was acquired by Southland Industries. On January 1, 2026, we’ll officially take the next step by transitioning fully to the Southland name.

As part of this change, we’ll be retiring our Brandt social media channels. To keep up with our latest projects, industry insights, and news, follow Southland Industries and visit us at southlandind.com.

Starting September 2025, you’ll see us on campus and at career fairs recruiting as Southland Industries. Back in 2022, The Brandt Companies was acquired by Southland Industries, and this change is another step toward our official transition to the Southland name on January 1, 2026.

Although our name is changing, the opportunities for students to grow their skills as an MEP engineering and construction leader are staying the same.
