Rainy winter days mean we can catch up on some project postings and here is one of our favorites. This one was certainly a relationship building project with Isle of Wight County Building Permits and Inspections Dept. Their help was much appreciated. We also appreciate our fabricator on the Peninsula that made all of the truss hardware and Franklin's powder coater for the nice black finish. David White Crane Service was an awesome resource and he often lent a helping hand in addition to his lifting help. Great guy!
When local lumber yards wouldn't even quote the Douglas Fir lumber required to build this large of a structure, we got resourceful and headed to the panhandle of WV to a retailer we knew would have the transportation network to bring materials from the Pacific NW. We managed to snag the only box truck large enough within 3 states, to transport it home.
Stamped concrete with broom finished concrete (under roof) helped to breakup the otherwise obvious pool shape. Copper caps provided final details of this great project for Great customers.
