🇺🇸 250 YEARS. ONE FLAG. ONE NATION. 🇺🇸

Today isn’t about roofing. It isn’t about work. Today is about remembering who we are and the price that was paid for the freedoms we enjoy every day.

For 250 years, this flag has stood as a symbol of courage, sacrifice, grit, and the belief that freedom is worth fighting for. Countless men and women have put on the uniform, left their families behind, and given everything so the rest of us could live free.

From Mrs. Roof Master, The Roof Master, and our family, we want to say thank you to every veteran, every active-duty service member, every first responder, and every American who works hard, loves their family, and takes pride in this country.

Around here, we still believe in a handshake, hard work, helping your neighbor, standing for the National Anthem, and thanking God for the blessings He’s given us.

We believe in raising our children to respect this flag, honor those who came before us, and understand that freedom has never been free.

So today, fly your flag high. Hug your family a little tighter. Fire up the grill. Watch the fireworks. Remember those who made it all possible.

🚨 EMERGENCY REPAIR… OR EMERENCY REPAIR FOR THE INSURANCE CHECK? 🤡🔨

Swipe these photos and let’s talk about what happens when “Chuck in a truck” roofing companies try to play contractor.

This company calls themselves roofers! 👀

And THIS was their idea of an “emergency repair.”

❌ Underlayment ran VERTICALLY instead of horizontally with the eaves
❌ Seams not properly overlapped 2”+ for water shedding
❌ Fastener pattern looked like a toddler discovered a nail gun
❌ Massive loose flaps creating a WIND SAIL instead of a temporary dry-in system
❌ Material wasted everywhere
❌ Water pathways literally CREATED into the roof system

Let me explain something…
This material is designed to shed water DOWN the roof — not sideways into seams. Running synthetic vertically with exposed overlaps is basically telling rainwater:

“Come on in boys, attic’s upstairs.” ☔🏠

They tried to cover the whole roof, and couldn’t even do that right. Then they nailed it every 3 feet. That didn’t hold up either. 😂

MARY vs MARTHA — READ THIS IF YOU’RE OUT HERE GRINDING

After Hearing a great sermon from Pastor Brent at
Carthage Nazarene I spent some time going over my notes. This message really hit hard for me being a Man trying to walk like Christ, a man with 5 children, a man with his own small buisness. I hope this relates to other men out here grinding.

Most men I know…
we’re built like Martha.

Up early.
Phone blowing up.
Deals, estimates, crews, problems.
Carrying the weight of a business, a house, and a future on our back.

And none of that is wrong.

But here’s the truth that hit me today:

You can have Jesus in your house… and still miss Him.

While Martha was moving, stressing, handling everything—
Mary was sitting at His feet. Listening. Locked in.

And Jesus didn’t say Martha was wrong for working…

He said:

> “You are worried and troubled about many things… but ONE thing is needed.”

🔥 Let that sink in.

Not 100 things.
Not the next deal.
Not the next problem.

ONE thing.

⚠️ This is where men lose it:

We get so busy providing…
we forget who we are.

We get so focused on building…
we lose connection with the One who gave us the blueprint.

We’re not sinful…
we’re just distracted.

And distraction will rob you faster than failure ever will.

📱 7–8 hours a day on screens
📅 Packed schedules
🧠 Minds running non-stop

No silence. No margin. No direction.

Then we wonder why we feel:
- Anxious
- Off
- Drained
- Short-tempered

That’s not pressure…

That’s disconnection.

Presence > Productivity

Because when you sit first…

You move different.

- You lead with clarity
- You speak with authority
- You walk in peace
- You stop reacting… and start deciding

🛑 Some of you are trying to fight battles you were never meant to carry alone. I know I have, and I do.
The Word says:

> “Submit to God. Resist the devil—and he MUST flee.” (James 4:7)

That’s authority.

Not hustle.
Not stress.
Authority.

👑 We’re not just workers…

We’re called to be kings, priests, leaders of our homes.

But if your house is filled with:
- Noise
- Chaos
- Fear

That’s what multiplies.

Because what you sow… grows.

So sow:
✔️ Peace
✔️ Stillness
✔️ Presence

💯 Real talk:

When was the last time you sat for 30 minutes…
no phone, no noise, no agenda…

and just said:

“God, what do You want to say to me?”

Not “what do I need to do”
…but “who do You want me to be?”

I’m telling you:

Be Mary FIRST… then go be Martha.

Because when you sit with Him first—

You don’t just work hard…

You work RIGHT.
