Woke up, checked the forecast, saw rain coming, and decided that was my sign to go cut flowers before the storm got to them. Walked out into my own flower field this morning and came back with the most beautiful arrangement for the living room.

It’s such a small thing, but it felt so good. We spend so much time taking care of everyone else that we forget to do something for ourselves. Every day I pinch myself because I can’t believe this is the life I get to have. I get to have a flower field, I get to raise my children, I get this little slice of heaven right here. And every day I thank God that he’s allowed me to have this life.

Sorry I’ve been a little MIA lately!

Between wrapping up the school year as a part-time librarian and completing my second wedding ever, life has been wonderfully busy around here.

From the moment you pull up and park next to the water, the beauty of this place embraces you! It’s absolutely stunning! The staff is friendly and the owners are there to help you find and select whatever you need!

There’s something really special about gathering my first bouquet of the season straight from the field, every stem grown right here in this soil with so much love.

The orlaya self seeded itself all over the flower field this year, and honestly I’m not mad about it. It adds that soft, whimsical feel I didn’t even know I needed 🤍

This little bundle is made up of orlaya, mountain mint, dianthus, and eucalyptus. Simple, airy, and so beautiful in its own quiet way.
