PLEASE BE ADVISED: the half power/brownout conditions caused by this storm are wreaking havoc all across town!👎🏻 ⚡️

Here is a few photos of a Customer’s 200 Amp Generac transfer switch… The utility power (Eversource) caused the transfer switch to malfunction, not sure whether to use generator or utility power, heating up the coil from the constant fluctuation, ultimately causing it to melt! Thankfully it did not catch fire and we were able to find the parts to get them fixed! 🔧

Fortunately there are forms available from Eversource for you to claim your damaged appliances and electronics, this customer is actively pursuing their claim… 💰

If you smell burnt wires, have a malfunctioning transfer switch, or any other electrical concerns give us a call, don’t risk it! 📞 ☎️

The blessings just keep coming here at Multi-State Electric! We have always offered Bucket Truck services but have certainly never looked this good doing it! Keep us in mind for your Parking Lot Lighting or any other Lighting needs… Per usual we have to give a HUGE shoutout to Geges detailing for getting us in on such short notice, and Brenner Signs for making a house call!

With this wet and heavy snow we’re experiencing a lot of downed branches and services… Did you know that Eversource is only responsible for repairing damage’s occurring on their end? That’s right, as an Eversource customer you are responsible for any damages occurring from the point of attachment down! Included is a diagram from their website showing the specifics.

If you have a service that is down, and you’ve already called Eversource and had to find this out the hard way, call us! If not we’re happy to educate our customers, community, and followers on what to do next time!
