We are a 24/7 family owned and operated plumbing company looking for a Journeyman Plumber/Laborer . Seeking a well mannered plumber/laborer (team player) with attention to detail and willingness to learn and receive instructions to assist with all of our plumbing service needs. Assisting plumber/s on service call with installation of sump pumps, water heaters, sewer clean-outs, plumbing fixtures and other duties as needed. Must have basic knowledge of a variety of plumbing applications. Be able to work in confined spaces and or at certain heights and depths. Provide cost estimates of the work to be performed (both labor and materials) Hours may vary, however typically 7-5. On-call rotation may be added in the future. Must have a valid driver license. This is a drug free environment.

This is a fast paced business and we do residential service, commercial new construction, and run a sewer division as well. Looking to hire immediately. Experience preferred, but will train the right candidate.

All Family Plumbing, is a family owned and operated company for over 15 years,and is hiring a Full-Time, Year-Round Drain & Sewer Technician. We service residential and commercial customers in the North-West suburbs and Chicago. In addition to normal 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM hours, we cover emergency services, including nights, weekends and holidays. The work is fast paced, encountering various drain cleaning situations in a variety of locations and settings.

Our home office is located in Cary, IL.

Duties and Responsibilities:

-Be thorough in inspections and accurate in quoting replacements or repairs.
-Cleans drains in homes and commercial buildings.
-Performs preventive maintenance in commercial establishments
-Ability to correctly identify & quickly solve problems.
-Ability to work a rotating schedule: this includes daily hours, “On-Call” evening hours, weekends and holidays.
-Use sewer cameras and sewer locators to determine options.
-Completes all required documentation on services and may collect, record and deliver fees to the office.
-Maintains an organized, clean and safe work area.
-Observes all safety and Company rules and regulations in the performance of duties.
-Other duties as assigned.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

- Experience in sewer & drain cleaning for a minimum of 3 years
- Experience jetting, line locating and line inspection
- The ability to pass Criminal Background Check - No Felony or Domestic Violence Charges - No Exceptions
- We are a Drug Free Workplace - You need to pass a Drug Screening
- Must have a valid driver's license and a good driving record
- Physically fit with the ability to lift at least 100 pounds
- Must provide excellent customer service
