🌤️ This Valentine's Day weekend is feeling more like early spring!
With family gatherings, friends over, or just enjoying the mild weather, homes are seeing more activity in the kitchen and living spaces are busier than ever.
Here are a few quick electrical safety tips to keep everything running smoothly this busy holiday weekend:
• Extra appliances, chargers, or lights running? Plug directly into wall outlets—no daisy-chaining strips to prevent overloads.
• Oven, microwave, or coffee maker on more? Watch for flickering lights or warm outlets—signs your circuits might need a check!
• Hosting? Test GFCI outlets in kitchens/bathrooms for safety (quick push of the test button).
• Warmer temps are great for outdoor tasks: Inspect extension cords, outdoor outlets, or holiday lights left up for any winter damage (cracks, water intrusion) before using them again.
