Thank you so so much to everyone who reached out to wish me a happy birthday. My birthday is usually my marker in the season that my garden is done for the year, but there are still a few goodies I grabbed to put out this morning.

Iā€™ve been loving using this larger celosia plums at the center of my arrangementsšŸ„° This went home tonight with one of my happy customers and Iā€™m so thankful she was able to stop out and see me!! Iā€™ll be doing a large chop on the garden this Thursday evening to set up bouquets for the weekend and a mini make and take bouquet bar at the stand. Come get these!!

Happy MondayšŸ„° The stand is open on this gorgeous day with lots of pretty bouquets and other goodies. I have lots of eggs as well. Next weekend is this gals birthday so Iā€™m planning on a large baking restock to offer a birthday special and Iā€™m sadly going to make that my last weekend having the farm stand open on a regular basis. The flowers are telling me itā€™s time to go to sleep for the winter and frankly Iā€™m tiredšŸ˜‚ I have absolutely loved having the stand again this year and all the support Iā€™ve received. Keep your eyes on my page for the next few weekends restocksšŸ¤

My take on AIā€¦ I know I know the robots are taking over!! But, honestly, I see it as a tool. The image on the right is what I asked chat to show me what a potted arrangement would look like with a mum, English ivy, and mini pumpkins clustered together. Before I went to the greenhouse this last week to get all the things, I wanted an idea of what it would look like all put together. Iā€™m an extremely visual person so it really helped me get my ideas together.

Now, the image on the left is what I created for my stand. It definitely does not look like the AI image. Iā€™m 100% okay with that. I could have definitely avoided the use of AI here, but I wonā€™t lie it did help me to visualize what this would all look like put together.

Many florists Iā€™ve seen online are against receiving AI inspo photos from brides or customers. But, as someone who needs a visual sometimes I completely understand. All I ask is if youā€™re using AI for inspiration to plan your flowers, you keep an open mind. You have to accept that the flowers you receive likely wonā€™t look like your AI mock-up. And you have to accept that sometimes your florist or local flower farmer is not going to be able to offer the combinations AI put together. Those flowers might not be in season when you need them, they might need to be ordered wholesale (and even then may need to be substituted based on availability), and I hate to say it this way but the computers are not natural. Naturally grown flowers have texture, they have movement, and they have blemishes. Even the most perfectly grown flowers will not look like AI. So, if youā€™re okay with all of that, send me the AI! Iā€™ll be happy to use that as your reference for the flowers youā€™d likešŸ„°
