Update on this remodel. All electrical and plumbing has been relocated. Custom cabinets are being built. The new laundry wall has been built back. Drywall has been hung and texture started. Also, a new 6' French patio door was added to access the outdoor patio.

During this time, the homeowners made another great decision to include the small bathroom in the project. We wasted no time to demo the old bathroom and start framing their new, larger bathroom.
The floor was repaired from prior water seepage, plumbing and electric will be relocated tomorrow along with the new shower. All ready to resume drywall Monday morning.

Big changes coming to this home. The dated siding and windows are going away and being replaced with new windows that carry a lifetime breakage warranty.
Also, new RigidStack DiamondKote siding and trim with aluminum soffit and fascia. Before the Zip System wall board was installed and taped. The old, settled and blown wall insulation was removed, and new fiberglass insulation was installed.

The homeowners made a few great decisions during the remodel process to include the kitchen and laundry room in the project. This will be a great use of space when completed. We will be turning the small kitchen area into the future laundry area. And the existing living room into a large, roomy kitchen. With custom cabinets and countertops, new lighting, windows, flooring etc.
There were floor issues that needed to be addressed during construction. Leveling and water damage. Reconstruction to provide a good sub-base for all the new flooring has been completed. This existing concrete was only 20' x 22'. The homeowner wanted a larger parking area. No problem! We poured an extension on the existing slab to make it 30' x 30'. Then built a cedar frame carport with pine ceiling and metal roof. We then applied 2 coats of siding sealer to help protect their investment. A few electrical outlets and a security light will finish this project. Side note, the homeowners last name starts with a "W", so we included that into the support of the framing.
