Hail storms hit us in May of last year and this year. Shortly after, the lights in this building in Elizabeth came on and three trucks parked outside, all with Florida license plates. Some roofing contractor popped in town… But only until September. Then they were gone.

We don’t do that. I don’t do that. My team and I came on the scene in Elizabeth and all over the Denver Metro area and up and down the front range first 10 years ago.

The business started here, we live here and work here and not going anywhere. Still here. Still helping. Count on it.

HAIL in the DENVER Area

Now is the moment many of us will have uninvited door-knocking contractors show-up and ask - even pressure - you to let them inspect your roof. Too many will even insist on it. Here are a few important points:

1. Allow only a contractor you are expecting, you have invited and scheduled, and has been recommended to you by a trusted source. Let "Know, Like, Trust and Recommended" be your guide. It’s OK to say “No Thanks” to a door-knocker.

2. Post a “Do Not…” or “No Thanks” sign on your door.

3. Get a detailed, professional report with photos, findings and recommendations. You should pay nothing for this.

4. Do not accept PRESSURE from anyone unannounced at your door.

5. Do not SIGN any document with, do not COMMIT to anyone who is just walking your neighborhood. Refer to Point 1, above.
