🇺🇸 Memorial Day was declared a national holiday through an act of Congress in 1971, and its roots date back to the Civil War era, according to the U.S. Department of Veterans’ Affairs. Unlike Veterans Day, Memorial Day honors all military members who have died in while serving in U.S. forces.

Memorial Day is a very important day to the C3 family. While we honor those who have been and are currently members of our United States Military every day through our thoughts and actions, we also want to be sure we take a moment to reflect on the reason for this long weekend.
While many people look forward to BBQ’s with friends and family, summer activities and an extra day off work, it is a somber day of remembrance for our veterans and service members who have endured significant loss of their brothers and sisters in arms.
Our roots run deep with generations of family and friends that have served, many who have given their lives to protect and defend this country. We are eternally grateful for their selflessness and sacrifice, and we HONOR them this Memorial Day.
