This kitchen was getting a small make over. Cabinets were painted (not by me). Their previous pantry was in poor shape and the design was inconvenient for the home owner. They wanted the center style and rail removed so they can have pull out shelves for the pantry. The cabinets received new hinges and pulls.

The bottom set of closet poles weren't really being used and saw more use for larger drawers so they can keep their fold clothes nice and neat. They wanted to keep the material simple with the white melamine. The closet is completed with...

• Plenty of room for shoes
• A file cabinet for their important files
• Cubbies for his bags and her purses on the top shelf
• An adjustable corner shelf, so there's no wasted space
• A section for her long dresses
• Double closet rod on her side
• A 4 drawer center cabinet with an opening for a vanity mirror
• Self closing drawer slides rated for 150 lbs.

Fun little build. 5 wall cubbies, 2 of which included two corner cubbies that flow from one wall to the other. Laminated two ½" ply to create a 1" thick frame. A corner desk equipped with a soft close drawer. And a 71" bench seat with 3 soft close drawers. Originally these were intended to be painted, but the home owner is loving the raw color and how it flows with the floor. So he may clear coat instead, or shine off it. Can't wait to see what he does, and to see it with the bench cushions and jobs.

You don't have to be a rocket scientist to install baseboard. But there is a difference when you have a non carpenter (in this case a painter) vs carpenter. The funny thing is, no matter how good of a painter he is, there's no special kind of paint to hide that workmanship! 🤣
