Anyone who knows us at Sleepy Ginger Designs knows that our business is built on capturing meaningful stories. But sometimes, a story finds us.

On her way to work last week, our daughter Donna spotted this tiny soul in the middle of Highway 8. We don't know how she got there, but she was injured, terrified, and in critical condition.

Every local shelter we contacted was completely full, so we rushed her to the vet. With lung contusions and a head injury, the vet told us the next 24–48 hours were entirely wait-and-see. We named her Penny, praying she’d be a lucky one.

Well, she fought through those critical hours, she kept fighting, and we quickly realized... she was already home. Anyone who knows the Davlantis household knows we are completely full up on pets, but accordingto our oldest daughter, the Cat DistributionSystem chose us!

To officially welcome her to the family, we crafted something special and created this custom paw ornament to commemorate her incredible survival story.

Welcome home, Penny, you're such a good girl!

It’s awards season in trap and s***t! While we’ve been busy celebrating our own Hanover team, we also had the absolute honor of crafting a very special custom award for Merritt!

He crushed it at the SCTP State Tournament at the Forest City Gun Club on June 5th, shooting an impressive, perfect 25/25 in S***t! 🎯💥

What makes this even more incredible? Merritt is only in 6th grade! 🤯

Huge congratulations, Merritt! That first straight-25 is a massive milestone. Keep up the incredible work, and keep shattering those clays! 🧡👇
