And just like that! These fall colors have faded, we’re digging our final trees out of the tree nursery for the year and setting up for our Christmas tree lot that opens THIS Saturday, November 22. We’re all already tapping into the hot cocoa machine and we have three lovely new shop friends on board. These candy-striped stands will be filled to the brim soon from our own stock and from a beautiful field in Northern Michigan. Check out our FB event or web page for all the details. See you soon!

It’s been a minute! It was a busy and dry season in the nursery and we’re excited about its future. Here’s some activity from the morning - three of our maples and one of our cherries going out to a fire department in Byron Center. The most beautiful reds and purples, a winning combination.

Happy Earth Day! Last week, we finished planting all 370 of our deciduous. Next up, 1000 coniferous! We plant by hand every spring - a process that isn’t easy on the back, knees and nail beds, but ensures all of our growing beauties get the proper treatment they deserve while under our care.

Today is our last day open for this season, noon to 5:00. Our remaining stock is Canaan, Douglas, one lone Fraser, two hand-crafted wreaths and a porch pot. See you soon!

Second to last day the tree lot is officially open! We’re here until 8:00 tonight. The cocoa is ready, the fire is cozy.

So many folks have shared photos with us of their tree at home and it brings us so much joy. Keep sharing!
