What a day at the Grand Mesa Nordic Council Skyway lodge opening! This community-led project drew a huge crowd, and for good reason. The snow fell perfectly, as if on cue, to mark the special occasion. After the speeches, tours and crowds died down, we took a moment to appreciate the serene ambiance of this beautiful lodge. It’s a legacy project, GMNC, you should be incredibly proud of what you’ve achieved! We were honored to be part of your journey.

Final touches going in today and we’re getting excited… opening day is almost here!
Join us tomorrow, Saturday April 11th from 10:00–2:00 for the Grand Opening of the Skyway Project 🎉
The new Grand Mesa Nordic Council Skyway Station is ready to welcome the community — a clean, functional space with those vintage ski lodge vibes we love.
Our team, along with the Nordic Council and some great partners, have been at it since the fall bringing all the pieces together. It’s been a big lift with lots of moving parts, and we’re really proud of how it turned out.

Skyway Project Update!

We’re thrilled to see the Skyway project for the Grand Mesa Nordic Council coming together so well — on time, on track, and taking shape beautifully! Mechanical systems are going in now, windows are set, siding is underway, and the roof has been installed. Our team is racing against winter, and we're pleased with the steady progress.

Christine Nichols, Finish Coordinator

With over 25 years of design and construction experience, Christine brings a wealth of knowledge and a keen eye for detail to our team. She studied Interior Architecture and Design at Woodbury University and has built her career around understanding client needs and delivering thoughtful, functional spaces.

We brought Christine on this year to assist with design and finish selections, working closely with clients to ensure every project comes together seamlessly. Her ability to listen, guide, and refine choices makes her an invaluable part of the design process.

Known for his competence, attention to detail, and commitment to quality, Dan now serves as Field Supervisor for the southern region of our service area, overseeing our Ridgway projects with steady leadership and expertise.

Tracy has been part of our team since 2018, with a short hiatus along the way to prioritize family, and we’re grateful to have her steady leadership on board. She brings a calm, professional presence to every project, and her persistence and dedication ensure that nothing is left unfinished.

Tracy is currently serving as Project Manager and overseeing the Skyway project we’re building for the Grand Mesa Nordic Council on the Grand Mesa. Her competence and commitment make her a true asset to our team.
