🌧️ Heavy rain heads-up, North Texas. The National Weather Service has a Flood Watch out until 7 AM Friday for Hunt, Collin, Dallas, Rockwall, Kaufman, Grayson, and Fannin counties.
The good news: no hail or damaging wind was reported in our area this past week. But a long, soaking rain is often when small roof problems finally show up, like worn flashing, a lifted shingle, or a cracked pipe boot.
If you find a leak:
1️⃣ Move valuables and catch the drip with a bucket or towels.
2️⃣ Snap photos of any ceiling stains or water spots.
3️⃣ Stay off the roof, especially while it's wet.
4️⃣ Give us a call. Once it's safe, we'll find where the water is getting in and show you photos of what we find. Most repairs are done in one day.
And please don't drive through flooded roads. Turn around, don't drown. 🚗
