Last Friday, HBA Design Build was proud to celebrate the groundbreaking of Kips Crossing in Celina, TX — an exciting mixed-use development designed to become a vibrant, walkable destination for the community.

This project represents more than growth — it represents intentional development focused on connectivity, quality of life, and creating spaces where people can live, work, gather, and thrive together for generations to come.

We are grateful for the support of Mayor Ryan Tubbs, City Council, city staff, community stakeholders, and the entire project team. A special thank you to SLX Development for trusting HBA to serve as the general contractor for this impactful project. We are honored to help bring this vision to life.

Progress is moving fast in Celina at Centra Plaza!

HBA Design Build is making strong headway on two new 10,000 SF retail buildings. Underground utilities are complete, subgrade prep is finished, and concrete piers have officially been drilled and poured.

Excited to see these projects continue taking shape as we move into the next phase of construction. Grateful for our team, trade partners, and clients helping bring this development to life in one of the fastest-growing communities in Texas!

Big things are taking shape in Denton, TX!

We’re excited to bring you an early construction update on Urban Air—and momentum is building fast. This week, our team is pouring insulated tilt-wall panels, a major milestone that sets the stage for vertical progress.

Next up: Panel er****on. Once these walls go up, the project really starts to come to life. From foundations to final build-out, it’s always rewarding to see a project move from plans to physical structure—and this one is no exception.

We’re proud to be part of bringing a high-energy, family-friendly destination to the community. Stay tuned as we continue to build something special in North Texas!

We’re proud to celebrate the completion of a brand-new indoor swim facility for MSB Aquatics!

This project was all about creating a safe, welcoming, and high-quality environment where swimmers of all ages and abilities can grow in confidence and skill. From thoughtfully designed training spaces to a climate-controlled pool environment, every detail was built with both performance and comfort in mind.

It’s been an incredible experience partnering with the MSB Aquatics team to bring their vision to life—one that will serve families and the community for years to come.
