We passed rough electrical inspection on this office addition today. We added 6” dimmable cut in wafer can lights, added some receptacles to an existing circuit which means we now have to update the circuit with Arc Fault protection. Once insulation, drywall, texture and paint are completed, we can do the final trim out with new Lutron Dimmers switches and Decora Tamper Resistant receptacles and call in for a final inspection through Douglas County.

I think it’s safe to say my client liked the finished product

I set her up with a 20 amp GFCI receptacle below her panel since she had no power there and then ran some EMT Conduit over to a switch which controls a switched receptacle up top for some string lights 💡

This was a special project for a good friend of mine. He wanted to be able to control this absolutely stunning custom light fixture on its own dimmer switch, but with a finished wood ceiling and finished walls, I had to make a miracle happen. After a good hour or so of investigating and brainstorming I came up with a game plan. Let’s just say this was the most difficult install I’ve ever encountered but at the end of the day the job was done and no damage done to the beautiful finished ceiling or walls

My clients just purchased a brand new Tesla, so of course we had to set them up with a new charger. The Tesla Stage 2 Charger (240v) can give you to 44 miles of range per hour vs the Stage 1 (120v) at 3 miles of range per hour. Having the right set up makes a huge difference 🔋

Knocked this job out last week at this beautiful restored home in the Whittier Neighborhood in Denver. 2 Arlington Industries outdoor post for the patio area with GFCI’s, and some EVE Smart receptacles on the back side of the garage which can be controlled through an app. Super cool for exterior lighting or Christmas lights. We also ran some fiber optic cable from the main server in the house to the garage for some high speed internet. This project was pretty fun and I have to say my client was super friendly and was such a pleasure to work with. More projects for this home coming up later next month.

My client was not able to shut off this chiller unit due to a faulty 3 Phase Disconnect. One of the legs would not disconnect properly, and if anyone would shut the unit it off it would still send power to one leg and fry the unit. I went ahead and swapped out the old one for a new one and now we are back in business ❄️
