This client reached out to us last fall about an investment property they had just purchased in Danbury. It's always such an exciting time - full of potential!!

And... also often full of things to fix.

In this particular case, the floors and doors really needed to be addressed before winter, and so that other upgrades could be made without fear of having to rip everything out again.

We started with a beautiful old wood floor, sanding & leveling it, and lovingly blending out some staining for a unified look.

Next, we tackled some window trim work, replaced 3 doors, and installed 2 additional ones.

Finally, we replaced the kitchen floor with an elegant LVT tile - easy to clean, resilient, and a striking contrast to the wood cabinets.

Whether they turn it into a second home, an AirBNB, or a combination of the 2 - this house is well on its way to being a beloved destination in New Hampshire's forested mountains.

This cottage in Hill was custom built by the grandfather over many years. It's held memories of ski trips, kids playing outside, and dogs romping through the surrounding woods. But time takes its toll - and as it passed to the next generation, some repairs had to be made. We started with these windows - custom sized, insulated against the draft, and trimmed out meticulously, inside & out.

Mark has been a client for years - but this particular project involved replacing his storm doors. We also replaced the prone-to-rot wood trim with PVC for longevity. You'll notice the doors and hardware are a dark bronze/black color - many people think "storm door" and assume it'll be white - but I love seeing our clients opt for a darker door. It adds contrast to the house and looks very elevated.

This adorable bunkhouse needed some TLC, especially the door. The existing door was an antique - beautiful, but at the end of it's useful life. We were able to find a door that was a similar style and color-matched it to the original, along with completing several other repairs. Now, someone uses this as an office/studio - enjoying all the historical charm without the issues of age.

This little back deck gets a lot of sun, and now, the homeowners can enjoy it in style! We replaced their worn deck boards with our favorite Trex decking, as well as repairing the stairs. We've done this kind of upgrade for many people, but every transformation is still unique, and always a pleasure!!

This home in Concord is due for a wave of upgrades, and we started with the front doors. It's always fun to see the difference after a door replacement - you get so used to the squeaks and having to jam it shut - but suddenly, it just... works. What an improvement!
