Neighbors helping neighbors. Thatโ€™s the Hill Country we know.

A few moments from our recent work helping Robert Carpenter after the July 2026 flooding in Kerrville.

This wasnโ€™t an ordinary demolition project. There was a home, a family, and a difficult season behind every piece of the work, and our team approached it with the care and respect that deserved.

Weโ€™re especially thankful this became a group effort. David Carpenter of Redemption Mill was there helping his dad, and Pro Rental donated support toward the project as well.

Robert told us afterward that Armour โ€œdid exactly what they said they would do.โ€

Thatโ€™s the standard we want attached to our name whether weโ€™re working on a large commercial site or helping a neighbor through something no one expected.

Proud of our crew. Grateful for the people who stepped up. Proud to call the Hill Country home.

This is exactly the kind of community effort Armour is proud to get behind.

When we learned that the Center Point High School athlete weight room was reaching temperatures over 100ยฐF with no A/C, the response was easy: we need to take care of our kids!

Armour Excavating has teamed up with C&F HVAC to help provide a 5-ton cooling unit for the student athletes at Center Point High School. Armour has committed $1,000, and C&F HVAC owner Jason Flores has also helped reduce the project cost through discounted labor and vendor pricing.

Weโ€™re incredibly grateful to the Kingโ€™s Ransom Foundation for already stepping up with a $4,000 donation. Now weโ€™re asking our Hill Country community to help us keep the momentum going.

Every contribution matters, and any donation size is welcome. If funds raised exceed the cost of the cooling project, the additional support will go toward other needed improvements, including restroom and field repairs.

To donate by check:
Payable to: Center Point ISD
Memo: โ€œWeight Roomโ€
Mail to:
Center Point High School
Attn: Business Office (Fieldhouse)
207 China Street
Center Point, TX 78010

Checks can also be dropped off at Armour Excavating, 5861 TX-27, Center Point, TX 78010.

Local businesses that contribute can also be featured in Center Point High Schoolโ€™s Community Guide as a thank-you for their support.

Letโ€™s give these student athletes a space where they can train safely, work hard, and keep building the skills that will carry them far beyond the weight room.

Hill Country, letโ€™s show up for our Center Point students. ๐Ÿฆพ

Some investments matter well beyond the job site.

Armour Excavating was proud to join local businesses and organizations in supporting Stella Boltenโ€™s Grand Champion Goat at the Austin County Fair Youth Livestock Sale in Bellville, Texas.

The project sold for $20,000, setting a new auction record and surpassing the previous $14,000 record.

Congratulations to Stella and all of the young exhibitors who put in the time, discipline, and hard work it takes to make it to the sale ring. Programs like these continue to build confidence, responsibility, agricultural knowledge, and the next generation of leaders in Texas communities.

We were honored to be part of this one alongside Bolten Boys Cattle Co., Keystone Foundation, Boltenโ€™s Dozer Service, and Bellville Farm and Ranch.

Supporting local youth and Texas agriculture is something weโ€™re proud to stand behind.

Helping keep the community together one load at a time.

Following the July 2026 flood in Kerrville, we had the opportunity to help Robert Carpenter with the demolition of his home.

His words afterward are something our team wonโ€™t take lightly: โ€œI would like to say this is a five star company. I cannot say enough about how great it was to work with them during the tragic demolition of my house necessitated by the flood of July 2026.โ€ โ€” Robert Carpenter, Kerrville, TX

Thank you, Robert, for trusting our team during an incredibly difficult chapter.

And thank you to David Carpenter of Redemption Mill and Pro Rental, who also stepped in to support this effort.
Doing good work matters. Taking care of the people behind that work matters even more.

Twenty acres changes the scale of the conversation.

The future Fredericksburg Racquet Center is taking shape on Friendship Lane, where the city has allocated roughly 20 acres for a centrally located facility intended to serve growing neighborhoods and nearby middle and high school campuses.

A project this size takes more than moving dirt. It takes coordinated site work, thoughtful sequencing, the right equipment, and a crew that understands how every phase affects what comes next.

Armour is proud to be handling the dirtwork on a site that will eventually serve a much larger purpose for the Fredericksburg community.
Big footprint. Big responsibility. Exactly the kind of work weโ€™re built for.

A load showing up isnโ€™t the same thing as a delivery being properly planned.

On a busy job site, whatโ€™s moving, how itโ€™s moving, when it arrives, and where it needs to go all matter. The wrong truck, poor timing, or a missed detail can leave crews waiting and schedules slipping.

Thatโ€™s why Armour treats hauling as part of the larger project plan. We coordinate the right equipment for the site, keep dispatch connected with drivers and field crews, and use real-time tracking to maintain visibility as needs change.

Aggregates. Stone and block. Freight. Heavy equipment. Every load accounted for.

Because reliable hauling doesnโ€™t just move materialโ€”it helps keep the entire project moving.

Every additional handoff adds another schedule, another point of communication, and another opportunity for something to get missed.

Thatโ€™s why Armour continues building its operation around handling more of the sitework under one roof.

Our team can coordinate clearing, excavation, grading, aggregate sourcing, material hauling, and site preparation as connected pieces of the same projectโ€”not unrelated scopes happening around each other.

For general contractors and developers, that means a clearer plan, fewer moving parts, and one team that understands the larger picture.

Your project doesnโ€™t just need another subcontractor. It needs a sitework partner.

Planning a commercial project? Letโ€™s talk about scope.

The Armour crew is back at it on this Texas Living Homes project, getting the aggregate properly placed and compacted as the site continues to come together.
