LLC specializes in new home building, electrical, kitchen and bath remodeling, basement finishes, additions, log homes and log home restoration. David has served in residential construction since 1989 with experience in cabinetry, trim carpentry, restoration work, remodeling, framing, project management, custom home building, log homes, timber framed homes and handcrafted log homes. In 1997 he sta
rted his first business framing houses in the greater Kansas City area. In 2004, after serving as a project manager for C&M Builders in KC, David founded Phoenix Family Building Co. It was then that David, his wife Kristy, and their six children, set out in a 38’ camper to build log homes across the country! Soon they added a 40’ camper for their crew of carpenters that David trained to do log home dry-ins. Josh grew up working with his dad and from a very young age developed a love for carpentry and building. He's experienced in framing carpentry, log construction, plumbing, drywall, trim carpentry, flooring, tile work, painting to name a few both in new construction as well as remodeling and serves as Construction Superintendent. Gabe also grew up working with his dad and has a knack and love for the trades. After working with his dad he worked as an electrician for both residential and commercial companies. He's experienced in framing carpentry, log construction, plumbing, electrical, trim carpentry, flooring, tile work, painting and serves as Project Manager. PFBC continues their legacy in the construction industry and the family is still a part of each project. PFBC is known for their craftsmanship, attention to detail and maintaining a close relationship with their customers. PFBC has also had the privilege of serving with Habitat for Humanity and the shows Extreme Home Makeovers and Timber Kings.
