HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE!
I wanted to share this as some good advice or you might think its bad advice but here it is.
As a seasoned professional in commercial lawn care, I'm excited to share 30 years of expertise that can elevate your business to new heights. Running a solo operation for three decades has taught me the importance of pride and attention to detail—whether it's meticulously picking up every last cigarette butt or ensuring a flawless cut. I've found that this dedication not only impresses potential clients and town officials but also contributes to a cleaner, more beautiful community. When mowing near roads, it's crucial to discharge away from the road and pick up debris to avoid blowing it back onto freshly cut lawns. This simple step prevents trash and cigarette butts from accumulating in the soil, causing bare spots and an unkempt appearance. By prioritizing thoroughness, lawn care professionals can build trust with clients and the community, ultimately enhancing their reputation. Consider including debris removal in your contract to ensure fair compensation for your meticulous work. When encountering unusual items, communicate with clients about additional services or fees. Cutting grass without leaving clumps requires patience and skill, especially in challenging conditions. To achieve professional results, in normal-height grass, make one pass with sharp blades and a second pass with the deck raised one notch; for taller grass, mow at the desired height, make two passes to ensure even cut collection of clippings, and make a third pass with the deck raised one notch to feather them into the yard. By following these best practices, you'll be able to take pride in your work, showcase your expertise, and build a stellar reputation that drives business growth.
