Since school has started I haven’t been in the garden much at all, but tonight I took a little stroll and found some delightful surprises….

My first year growing Broom Corn! It’s actually a type of sorghum. Never thought it would get this tall! It has to be at least 12 feet. I will use the seeds for chicken feed and the broom tops for fall decorations!

First time growing Lisianthus. Some wins and some fails! If you don’t net them they will fall over and grow sideways! Doesn’t make for a pretty bouquet when that happens.
