We've been sharing video updates throughout this project, but we wanted to post the final pictures of the completed retaining wall, drainage system, and custom stone steps. 🙌

This project included excavation, a compacted gravel base, a perforated drainage system behind the wall, hard-piped downspouts, and custom Tennessee Blue/Gray natural stone steps built directly into the wall and tied into the back porch.

You may notice the landscape beds are not finished. The homeowner plans to complete the beds themselves, so our scope of work was focused on the retaining wall, drainage, and stairway installation.

Retaining Wall project is completed 🙌

The landscape beds aren't finished yet because the customer requested that we only install the retaining wall, natural stone steps, and drainage system. Today we wrapped everything up, and the customer is thrilled with the results!
This project features Oldcastle Gray/Charcoal retaining wall blocks and natural Tennessee Blue/Gray stone slab steps.

Project is nearing the finish line. The natural stone steps leading to the back patio are complete. All drainage systems are in place. Each downspout is ran independently with pvc pipe to the exterior of the wall with larger drain outlets inserted in wall. Then we ran perforated pipe along the bottom of the block wall with small slit drain outlets to prevent any water from sitting behind the wall and causing it to fail. The only thing left to do is finish out securing the wall caps in place and doing some cleanup work. God bless!

We're back on this project after we had to pause work because of the rain and site conditions. Base course is laid, and we've started building the natural stone steps.
