Tolerant of others, strict with yourself

When it comes to others, you can't expect them to live, act, or behave according to your standards. It's impossible, since everyone has different standards and lifestyles, so no one can please everyone. The same is true for you.
But when it comes to yourself, set high standards and have the self-discipline to meet them.
When you set your own standards and discipline yourself, you don't need others to correct you, you have the greatest freedom, and you are prepared to progress and succeed.
