Good Afternoon Facebook Friends and Facebook Supporters!
Today, Scott Pitcher and I would once again would like to thank Mike Minton and Lisa Minton for the hospitality and appreciation we received as we had fun yesterday creating the final design that will very soon be their Newly-Remodeled, Updated Bathroom. Our design team aims to provide positive impacts and immediately improve the lives of our clients through functionality, best use of limited space, ventilation, and aesthetically pleasing design. Below is a list of just a few.
Number #1: Functionality- Bathrooms are usually the smallest room in our homes. For this reason, when you remodel your bathroom it is best to consult with a design team and/or plumber to see if your current layout is the best solution for your situation such as (aging-in-place), accessibility, or if using more upscale materials, lights, and fixtures makes sense because all the kids are grown and moved out. (Hopefully for good lol!)
Number #2: Best Use of Limited Space- This is HUGE because we already are working with very limited space. Such things as layout, size of vanity and/or cabinetry, toilet height/length, mounted or unmounted toilet paper holder, standing-shower or bathtub, shower doors/rods, wet-area soap dish and shelving placement, light fixtures, towel racks, mounted shower seats, grab bars for stability for getting in and out daily, slip-resistant flooring, detached shower heads, etc. The same bathroom layout may have completely different designs because one may be for a newly-retired couple (the husband is in a wheelchair so doors and areas need to be larger to accommodate for handicap accessibility) who are focused on aging-in-place. The next Bathroom with the same layout will be completely different because it is being designed for newlyweds that already have a 2-year-old daughter and just found out the have twins on the way.
Number #3: Aesthetically Pleasing Design- Creativity plus state-of-the-art technology have allowed us to imagine ideas we used to only dream about and now implement them into the design phase of your next Bathroom. Materials, fixtures, color schemes, hardware, lighting, smart e-assistants, etc. are just a few examples of ideas to ponder on before designing your next bathroom.
