Today we started a new kitchen renovation. We’re turning this into an open concept kitchen with an island in the middle and all new tile flooring throughout. This one is going to be a big job! Wrapped these porch posts in some post wraps. Turned out pretty good. These post wraps help keep your wood posts away from the elements to prevent them from rotting out in the future. They are made out of a composite material so they will never rot.

Update on this kitchen we’ve been working on. What a difference! Almost done, just some finishing touches and the backsplash, give us a follow to see the final product and the before and after! Kitchen update! Since I last posted about this kitchen we got the new permashield 200 series sliding door in for the deck we will be installing after the kitchen is finished. And we also got the tile floor done and set most of the base cabinets. Follow along to see the final project!

Started a kitchen this week, took out the wall that separated these two rooms to make an open concept. Give us a follow if you want to follow along!

Always make sure you as a contractor caulk around the nail fins before you set your windows, and make sure you tape your bottom sill to help prevent rot. After the window is installed use flashing tape around the side and top nail fins, sides first, then top. DO NOT TAPE THE BOTTOM TO MAKE SURE IF ANY WATER DOES GET BEHIND IT THAT IT HAS A PLACE TO RUN OUT! IF YOU TAPE THE BOTTOM THE WATER WILL GO BACK INTO THE HOUSE! And homeowners, make sure your contractors are doing this!

Finished up this Trex Company deck this week with RDI aluminum railing with lights. Turned out pretty nice, love the double boarder we did. Boarder color was spiced rum and deck color was Havana gold. Give us a call today for your next remodel!
