And just like that one of the “twin” monarchs are off on their life’s voyage. 🦋

Came home yesterday and both monarchs were fully open and stunningly beautiful! There was one male and one female.
I immediately released them.

You know you’re doing a good job when you walk up to milkweed in your backyard and see monarch caterpillars!
Ain’t it adorable!? Have you seen any monarch caterpillars in your yard yet this season??

Ain’t that a beautiful green color?

The 2nd monarch I was home and got to witness the caterpillar turning into a chrysalis. It was pretty amazing to watch it happen. Nature is amazing!

This time lapse was probably a little more than eight hours long of recording -down to 20 seconds!
