A lot of times even if you’re gallon is brand new, or working out of a 5 gallon bucket, there can be little pieces of junk in your paint. And most likely if you’re reusing a gallon, it’s important to strain your paint like this. It will leave a better finish and you won’t be fighting your paint while you’re rolling.

This dark green color was a big transformation for this bonus room. Moody colors have been becoming more popular, and this is one that I’d add to my list of colors I’d recommend. The color is Valspar: Canadian Fir. It reminds me of green. This would make a great man cave. ⛳️

Being organized in business is crucial to set yourself up for success each day. I’m really enjoying my Stack Tech System to keep all my tools readily available, and easily accessible when going in and out of customers houses. I’m looking forward to future products to keep optimizing.

This is a game changer when it comes to cleaning cabinets. I use my sander with the maroon scrub attachment that does all the hard work for me. It’s important to use a good cleaner like this TSP spray, or degreaser, or even denatured alcohol. Once they’re wiped clean it’s back to the with the vacuum attached and some 180 grit blizzard paper. Prep is 🔑 .

Take your time, Do it right!
This sequence shows the removal and repair of a wainscoting in the kitchen. It was an unnatural break in the wall, and the customer wanted a seamless look.
After removing the trim pieces, the area was skim coated with a drywall compound. Once everything was smooth, I applied a good primer that seals the patchwork. Then I used Emerald Matte to make it look as it should. It took some extra time to let the patchwork dry right, and the prime, but the results speak for themselves.
