What a day at AppleFest! 🍎🍂

A big THANK YOU to everyone who stopped by to visit us at LSL Woodworks today!

Whether you stopped to admire Louie's handiwork, chatted with us for a bit, picked out something to take home, or placed a custom order, we truly appreciate each and every one of you!

There's a lot of time, patience, and hard work that goes into every piece Louie creates, and it's always rewarding to see folks appreciate the craftsmanship that goes into them.

We enjoyed seeing familiar faces, meeting new ones, and hearing all the wonderful comments about his work.

Thank you for supporting our little woodworking business and helping make another AppleFest a success! ❤️

Some freshly dipped boards and utensils Louie worked on today. Look at those colors and that wood grain! 😍 I love seeing how everything comes to life once it gets dipped.

The prep for Applefest continues! We’ll be set up in Downtown Chambersburg this Saturday, October 17. That busy man of mine has been putting in some shop time 😊

Do you ever walk out the door and think, “I KNOW I’m forgetting something…”? 😆

That was me this morning! I got out the door, had that nagging feeling…and then realized I needed to run back inside for something pretty important.

A cutting board! ❤️

LSL Woodworks is donating one of my favorite boards to the Dinomite Deacon Bingo Fundraiser on October 18th as a bucket raffle prize.

Deacon is a medically complex kiddo we know and love, so when there’s an opportunity to help support him and his family, we’re happy to be a small part of it. 💙

And yes…I was this close to driving away without the board. 😂 Thankfully that little “you forgot something” voice kicked in just in time!

Good luck to whoever takes this beauty home — I might be a little jealous. 😉❤️

Come out, play some Bingo, have some fun, and help support Dinomite Deacon!

The orders have been rolling in and Louie has been one busy guy in the shop! 🪵🔨

But even when you love what you do, sometimes you need to shut the shop down and recharge. So for the last two evenings, Louie did something a little unusual… he took the nights off from woodworking.

A little downtime, a little rest, and now tonight it’s back to the shop—because apparently those orders have absolutely no intention of filling themselves! 😂

We’re incredibly thankful for everyone who continues to support LSL Woodworks, place orders, share our work, and keep this guy busy doing something he truly enjoys.

Now it's back to making sawdust tonight! 🪵❤️

And don't forget, we will be set up next weekend at Chambersburg' AppleFest 2026 on October 17th. So make sure you stop by and say Hi 👋 😊

Wrapped up these two customer orders today. Both are handcrafted end-grain boards, built to be used—not just looked at.
The large board is solid hard maple features a thick end-grain construction with recessed handles and stainless feet. The smaller board combines a beautiful cherry end-grain center with a black walnut contrasting dark border and juice groove.
Every board I build is made one at a time right here at LSL Woodworks.
Looking for a custom cutting board? Send me a message and we can design one specifically for you.
