Tools and Vehicle is required.

Part time/ On Call Maintenance Person

Alvarez Property Maintenance INC. is owner-based Property Management firm with approximately 10 units out of Champaign. Urbana and Rantoul area. We are currently searching for qualified licensed Part Time/ On Call Maintenance person for Champaign, Urbana and Rantoul area.

Pay Rate On Experience: $15-$17 an hour.

** Requirements

Must have own vehicle
Valid license
Valid insurance
Excellent attendance
Proof of Insurance (Certificate Of Insurance)

Knowledge, Skills and Experience required.

High school diploma or equivalent
2+ years experience in apartment maintenance or equivalent

General carpentry skills

Basic knowledge of plumbing

Basic knowledge of electrical, including outlets, switches, and light fixtures

Basic Carpenter Skills

**Responsibilities include but are not limited to;

Completes work order’s assigned to them in a timely manner based on priority

Make Ready/ Turning Units in between tenant occupancy.

Assists in coverage of a 24/7 emergency via your personal cellphone with Alvarez Property Maintenance staff. Assist with construction or remodeling projects, move furniture and equipment upon instruction, Maintain the overall condition of building and grounds as requested.
Perform inspections of the premises and ensure that any hazardous conditions are immediately reported to the Alvarez Property Maintenance staff for handling.

SCHEDULE:

Monday to Friday as Needed
Weekends required as Needed
Holidays required as Needed.

So today my workers were by themselves! Passing out flyers! The president said no more than 10 people together I only had 4! My workers made no contact with anyone and just put flyers to doors. My workers are safe and protected from this virus! Please do not make it a big deal that I'm trying to keep my workers from being kicked out their house bc they dont have money to support themselves 😋🙄
