It’s been a while since I’ve posted a before and after so here we go!

For any of you that have a Federal Pacific brand panel-or have had one changed out because of the fire hazard they present, here’s a good set of pictures showing what they can do.

As far as I can tell, the connection on the main breaker wasn’t solidly secured and started to melt the bus bar of the panel.

Another fun byproduct of this happening was that the service wires behind the power company’s meter melted and destroyed the meter socket.

The customer is lucky and thankful that the house did not start on fire!
