Every finish in this kitchen was a decision, and we sweated all of them.

This East Valley primary bath had good bones and a dated everything else. We gave it a backbone of black cabinetry, warmed it up with brushed brass on every fixture and pull, and carried soft grey marble across the counters, the tub surround, and the shower so the whole room reads as one piece. Warm wood floors keep it from feeling cold, a frameless glass shower and marble niche finish it off, and that gold light over the tub is the part everyone stops on.

Black, brass, marble, and wood, brought together with a lot of care. The kind of space you're happy to start and end the day in.

Hard to believe these are the same room.

Where there were bare studs and a concrete slab, there's now a great room built for how people actually live in Arizona. We wrapped the fireplace in a blackened steel feature wall, ran warm oak floors from edge to edge, and opened the entire back of the house with sliding glass doors that tuck away completely. Now the mountains are basically part of the living room.
