Our team traded job sites for bowling lanes at the 23rd Annual Shirley Dail Bowling Tournament, benefiting the Nawic Tucson Scholarship and Endowment Fund. With this year’s theme inspired by The Golden Girls, our crew understood the assignment—and had plenty of fun along the way!

We were proud to partner with one of our valued customers on a challenging sewer bypass project in East Mesa, Arizona.

This project presented a unique set of obstacles, including difficult terrain, nearby residential neighborhoods where noise mitigation was critical, adjacent waterways, and coordination with multiple governing agencies—all while ensuring uninterrupted sewer service.

Through careful planning, collaboration, and ex*****on between the CPE team and our customer, the bypass was completed seamlessly. This allowed the sewer line repairs, manhole rehabilitation, and relining work to be performed safely and efficiently without interrupting sewer flows.

A huge shoutout to Edgar Acosta, Cosme Vasquez, Tyler Larkins, and the entire CPE team for their professionalism, dedication, and commitment to delivering another successful project. Your hard work continues to demonstrate what makes CPE a trusted partner for critical infrastructure projects.

This Independence Day, we celebrate 250 years of American freedom, ingenuity, and determination.

At Capital Pump & Equipment, our red, white, and blue colors and CPE star reflect more than a brand—it reflects values deeply rooted in the American spirit: hard work, reliability, innovation, and service to others. Those same values guide the work we do every day as we support our customers and communities and help keep critical infrastructure throughout our region and across the nation.

Out on Val Vista Rd in Mesa, AZ, Capital Pump & Equipment was busy keeping things flowing đź’§

We supported a roadway and sanitary sewer capacity upgrade between the U.S. 60 and Baseline Rd by operating a 2 MGD bypass system, seven (7) sound-attenuated pumps handling, and two (2) sewer laterals through a 12" HDPE dual-discharge line stretching more than 5,600 feet.

The site also presented some challenging conditions:
• Critical suction lift
• 11 driveways to navigate
• Very limited working space along a busy roadway

Projects like this were all about pre-planning with the entire project team and staying flexible once boots hit the ground. We were proud of the CPE crew for making it happen and keeping things running smoothly for the community!
