Growing up on a Horse Farm just west of Chapel Hill NC allowed me to be involved in a variety of construction projects from an early age, including barns , sheds, house renovations, pottery studio additions and new houses. Summer's in College were spent working on local building crews.After graduating from UNC Chapel Hill I moved to New Orleans where I started my own business working on historic

properties. Along the way I learned cabinetry, furniture building and even glassblowing. I moved back to Chatham County NC in 2001 where I designed and built my own modest house as well as one other along with several wooden boats.More recently I have built wood playgrounds and tree houses in association with Go Out and Play, which you can see at Kidzu Children's Museum and Frank Porter Graham Elementary in Chapel Hill, and Montessori Childrens House of Durham. I also take on small projects like custom bookshelves and cabinetry . I can re-do your kitchen or bath including including the tile work, and many plumbing and electrical tasks.
