INSIDE THE JOB: Hunting Island Water Tower

- Tower drained as it had approx 30,000 gallons of water still in the bell

- Perimeter defined to establish Safe Zones

- Trees cleared creating a runway for a safe landing area to be established

- 120 Ft. Man Lift used to secure 1 inch cable to the legs below the bell with a pulley system

- 91,600 lb tensile strength per cable (3 pounds per foot is weight of cable)

- Scored & Cut legs and column at their base

- Excavator pull = pressure to cable

-TIMBER!!!!
