Working on minor adjustments to the stringers, getting treads leveled out, before we wrap the “risers”. Stringers are wrapped with 1x mitred at the rise so that we can set the treads back to give the stringers a “notched-out” effect.

Here is the bench seating made from our earlier post of its concept drawing. As you can see we changed the layout and brought the left side longer to fit under the long window while shortening the right. Giving it an unique asymmetrical look but is still pleasing.

The seating and storage is part of a larger kitchen remodel we just completed in the Park Circle area of N. Charleston (more pics to come)
