Home owners are located very close to an area of low land behind the house. Shade and moisture keep the grass from growing and made the area unusable. With some pavers and aggregate those problems are solved. Now they have a fire pit area along with a patio to place table and chairs.

Belgard Mega Bergerac color Ardennes Grey over a pervious base of Granite aggregate. Joints filled with polymeric black sand.
(There was a pebble concrete driveway with multi cracks and lots of root damage. Lifted concrete was cause drainage issues. Now everything drains away from the house and under the driveway. Never any standing water doing or after rains.)

Do you have a small area that could use some cleaning up? Pavers! Especially pervious rock base is a great solution for shaded areas. An outdoor shower is being added to the wall now that the pavers are completed . This was a trash can area of dirt before with a severe slope. The three layers of Wall block solved that problem.

Another Pervious Belgard Cambridge Paver system. Replaced a broken sunken drive with this new clean looking driveway. Water flows between each paver and trickles through a gravel bed then via a soil/sand filter fabric drains into the natural sand bed blow. 🤠🇺🇸

This is a project we finished a few weeks ago. There’s also a nice size patio on the back of the house with pavers. I’ll post more pictures here later on. Everything is on a pervious base of granite aggregate. The back corner of the driveway was raised a foot higher than before. The old driveway held water for days. Not anymore.

So here is the final Stone Fireplace. It is 11 feet 7 inches tall the base is 77 inches wide. The fire opening is 48 inches square and the hearth is 10 feet 7 inches long. The side seat walls are 22 inches high and 10 feet long in the front. All stone caps are 2 inches thick and are 2 feet squares. The landscaping retaining wall is 21 feet long 20 inches high with two steps built in.
This fireplace, walls, and foundations were installed in three weeks as requested to have completion done prior to guest arrival.
I have other pictures and videos to post of construction and our commute to and from Botany Bay Island.
This was an amazing experience to be asked to work on this project.
