The team of Silling + DLR Group led the design of this new correctional and detention facility campus nestled in the mountains of Neola, West Virginia. This reimagined co-ed correctional campus for young adult inmates ages 18 to 25 years old provides enhanced opportunities for rehabilitation, vocational training and education, and connections with family through an extensive visitation program. The programs at the Anthony Correctional Center and Jail are uniquely structured around providing young offenders from a broad spectrum of offenses the opportunity to have a non-traditional incarceration experience focused on rehabilitation, education, skill-building, and re-entry.

We are pleased to have Emma and Lola join the Silling team as summer interns in our Charleston design studio. Emma, who interned with us in 2025, recently graduated summa cm laude from Auburn University with a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design and a minor in International Human Sciences. After the summer, she will be continuing her education at New York University where she will study across the London and Paris campuses to pursue a Master of Historical and Sustainable Architecture. Lola currently resides in Scott Depot and is entering her senior year at the University of Kentucky's College of Design and plans to graduate in May of 2027.

As an architect in the Orlando studio, Adam brings his passion for thoughtful design and careful planning to each and every project. With over ten years of experience in a variety of building typologies including mixed-use and multifamily, he excels in working with project stakeholders at each phase to ensure all aspects of the project process are considered and coordinated. In addition, he is squarely focused on technical excellence in document ex*****on throughout a project’s lifecycle. Adam firmly believes that architecture can be a catalyst for positive social change – one that powers community communication, collaboration, and engagement.
