Sitting at a grand piano, Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra member Josep Castanyer Alonso was to showcase the styles of six different classical composers. Listeners were taken completely by surprise when, instead of playing a classical piece, he began to play ‘All I Want For Christmas Is You.’ What followed was an equally impressive and hilarious interpretation of the festival classic, which shocked viewers by how much it sounded like it was written by the greatest classical composers of all time, one calling it “devilishly clever.”
