We are a Prime Contractor with multiple Telecommunications companies located in Charlotte NC. We are seeking experienced Linemen and Foremen with experience covering aerial construction including fiber optic and coaxial placement and the ability to read maps. You will also need all basic "Hand Tools". CDL Drivers are a plus. We are looking to hire long term Employees. We have excellent wages, Vacation Pay,and Health Insurance.We would prefer a minimum of 3 years experience performing aerial construction. Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen. Must be able to perform all aspects of aerial CATV and Fiber construction, new build, overlash, span replacements and pole transfers
Primary responsibilities for this position include:
-Install, upgrade, repair or remove aerial cables
-Work safely, follow safe work practices and procedures and wear mandated Personal Protective Equipment.
-Complete work as directed by job site foreman
-May provide instruction to others, including assisting in training of less experienced lineman and ground-hands
-Preventative maintenance of equipment, including truck and trailer
-Maintain clean and safe work site
-Able to work 40+hours
