C. Herman Construction has officially begun sitework on The Byrum, a new 286-unit multifamily community in the Innovation Quarter.

The four-story development will wrap around a structured parking deck, adding additional housing to this dynamic and growing community.

Since joining CHC, Rusty has played an instrumental role in our growth by building a strong preconstruction team, strengthening client relationships, and helping lead our precon efforts across each of our markets. His leadership and commitment to finding solutions have made a lasting impact on our team and the projects we pursue.

Join us on October 22, 2026 at Meadow Wood Farm in Waxhaw, NC for a day of sporting clays with our valued clients, trade partners and vendors all while supporting a great cause.

Another unforgettable CHC Summer Outing is in the books!

This past weekend, employees and their families from across all of our markets came together in Charleston for a weekend of connection, celebration, and fun. Every year, our group photo gets a little bigger, which is a reflection of the incredible growth our team has experienced.

We welcomed new faces, strengthened relationships, and held our Annual Employee Owner Meeting, where we reflected on our progress over the past year, celebrated what it means to be employee owners, and looked ahead to the future we’re building together.
