🚧 Construction Safety Week 2026 Day 4: Respect 🚧

It’s Day 4 of Construction Safety Week, and today’s theme is Respect.

Planning is critical to everything that happens on a construction project. Not respecting the plan, skipping steps or failing to adjust when conditions change can lead to serious safety risks. Respecting the plan is more than following instructions. It’s about valuing the people around you and the work that goes into keeping everyone safe.

At Rodgers, respect shows up in how we communicate, how we collaborate and how we hold each other accountable on the jobsite. It means speaking up, listening and making sure every voice is heard when it comes to safety.

Construction Manager Matt Porter shares how respecting the plan and the people around us helps prevent serious injuries and keeps our teams safe every day.

🚧 Construction Safety Week 2026 Day 2: Respond 🚧

It’s Day 2 of Construction Safety Week, and today’s theme is Respond. Recognizing hazards is only the first step. What we do next is what keeps our teams safe. From speaking up when something doesn’t look right to taking action and using Stop Work Authority, responding the right way can prevent serious injuries.

At Rodgers, responding means being prepared, staying alert and taking action when conditions change. It’s about making the right call in the moment to keep work moving safely.

Superintendent Matt Lees shares how responding with urgency and accountability helps protect our teams and reinforces our commitment to safety every day.

We recently celebrated a meaningful milestone with the topping out of 's new inpatient hospital tower, a joint venture between Rodgers and The Christman Company.

The seven-story tower is designed to better support both patients and caregivers, enhancing how care is delivered while improving day-to-day operations. It will include 150 private patient rooms, each with its own shower to provide added comfort and privacy, along with modernized nursing stations and expanded staff areas that promote both safety and efficiency.

We are honored to help bring this impactful vision to life and look forward to the milestones ahead!

We’re nearing the finish line on the Charlotte Museum of Nature project, delivered in partnership with ! 🦦🌿
