⚡️BIG THINGS ARE HAPPENING AT ZEN’S GARDEN! ⚡️

Another major step happened in May as the electrical work officially began to our Outdoor Kitchen! 🙌🏾

What started as a dream is slowly becoming a reality. Soon, this space will be used to host Food 101 classes, cooking demonstrations, youth programs, community workshops, and hands-on opportunities that help families learn how to prepare healthy meals using fresh ingredients grown right here in the garden.

Every wire, every connection, and every improvement brings us one step closer to creating a space where education, nutrition, and community come together.

We are incredibly grateful for everyone who has supported this vision through volunteering, donating, sharing our mission, and believing in the work we do. 💚

The harvest doesn't stop at growing food...we're growing knowledge, confidence, and healthier communities.

Stay tuned as we continue bringing this space to life! 🌱🍅🥬

Our garden is thriving and we’re excited to share what’s currently growing at ZEN! 💚

Right now, we’re cultivating:
🥬 Romaine Lettuce
🌿 Spinach
🍃 Mullein
🌶️ Peppers
🍅 Tomatoes
💐 Flowers

Each plant serves a purpose — from nourishing the body to supporting holistic wellness and reconnecting our community to the power of nature and fresh food.

Our garden is more than a space to grow produce — it’s a place for education, sustainability, healing, and community care. We can’t wait to continue expanding what we grow and share with you all throughout the season. 🌞🌱

We’ve been thankful for every bit of rain lately because the garden is responding beautifully. 🌧️🌱

The seeds have been planted, the beds have been prepared, and now we’re beginning to see the harvest unfold right before our eyes. What once looked like hard work in the dirt is now turning into fresh growth for the community.

A huge thank you to our Communal Garden Work Group for continuously showing up and putting love into this space. From preparing garden beds to planting seeds that are now sprouting and producing, your dedication is helping grow with purpose in every way possible🙌🏽💪🏾💚

This garden truly moves because of community‼️‼️
