Highlighting another 3 amazing Anchors Exhibition Participants:

Ian Wegener is a multidisciplinary artist who loves building creative worlds, imaginative landscapes, and objects that weave together his years of experience as an artist. The roots of his work are an intuitive practice of making paintings and objects that reflect an appreciation
for nature, dreamlike states, and a meditative focus on attention and creativity. He sees the natural world as limitless, and attempts to crystallize this through his work.
His monumental sculpture has been featured in Charlotte SHOUT!, he has exhibited work for over a decade and his pieces can be found in collections all over the country.

Laura Daughtridge is a Charlotte based artist whose creative practice spans painting, interior design, and art direction for film and television. Her ethereal oil paintings explore the play of color, light, and atmosphere. Built through layers of increasingly translucent color, her luminous compositions seem to glow from within. Daughtridge works primarily in large scale oil paintings and is interested in chasing a sense of light, allowing the earliest layers to remain visible through the texture and depth of the finished piece.
