After 55 years dedicated to the construction industry and countless contributions to Harmon, we are incredibly proud and grateful to celebrate Lee McLin as he begins a well-earned new chapter in retirement.

Anyone who knows Lee will tell you that his legendary warmth and genuine kindness make him so much more than a teammate, but one of the best mentors and friends you could ask for. The lessons he’s shared, the people he’s helped, and the memories he’s made are woven into the foundation he helped build, and we are incredibly grateful for the time, dedication, and heart he has given to making Harmon what it is today.

Lee, thank you for your hard work, for everything you’ve taught us, for the countless ways you’ve helped those around you, and for the difference you’ve made simply by being part of our team. It has been an honor, not only to work alongside you, but to have been part of your journey.

While we will certainly miss seeing you around Harmon, we couldn’t be happier to watch you step into this next chapter. Here’s to an incredible career, a lasting legacy, lifelong friendships, and all the adventures still ahead.

What an amazing few days at the NC Association for Public Charter Schools Annual Conference! ❤️

Thank you to everyone who stopped by the Harmon Construction Services booth to spin our prize wheel, enjoy some delicious treats from Suárez Bakery, enter our Apple AirPods Pro 3 giveaway, and spend a few minutes getting to know our team.

While the prizes and treats were fun, the real highlight was the people. We left this conference feeling inspired by the passion, dedication, and heart of the incredible leaders we had the privilege of meeting. Thank you for welcoming us, sharing your stories, and trusting us with your visions for the future. It was truly inspiring to hear about the life-changing work happening in our local charter schools and the ripple effects being felt throughout the state. The passion and commitment you bring to your students each day not only creates brighter futures for them, but also stronger communities for us all. Thank you!

This Fourth of July, we're reminded that one of America's greatest strengths has always been its people. 💪🏽

And today of all days, we're celebrating the places that bring people together, where neighbors become friends, families create lasting memories, and communities continue to grow. Projects like Smith Commons Apartments in Hamlet, NC are a reminder that building homes is about so much more than construction. Early mornings, long hours, problem-solving, and showing up ready to tackle whatever comes your way -- you're a force to be reckoned with. But beyond the jobsite, many of you are carrying an even greater responsibility: being a father.

You’re not just building structures. You’re building homes, memories, and futures for your families.

The impact you make reaches far beyond the classroom, and this week is a reminder of just how many lives are shaped by your patience, care, and commitment every single day. 🍎

This week, we were incredibly grateful to celebrate with not one, but two amazing schools — Palisades Park Elementary and Southwest Charlotte STEM Academy!
